A WORD ABOUT OUR TIME TOGETHER
You’ll hear me say it time and time again at our session, but I want you to be able to read and process this BEFORE we get together.
This session and our time together is about you and your family, NOT about me and my camera.
Do you want those authentic images that show love and laughter? You know, the ones that show families interacting and having a great time together? Then you HAVE to be IN the moment and focused on your loved ones and not on me.
Let go of the idea of posing for photos and instead:
- cuddle your kids and spouse;
- hug on them;
- do what you would do at home to make them laugh;
- build a sandcastle;
- swing over the waves;
- dance in the sunlight.
I’ll have plenty of directions to give you and prompts to get you started, but you’ll take it from there and make the magic happen- I’ll be there to capture it!
Your kids grow up SO fast. I know it’s cliche, but it’s oh so true.
The only way I can truly freeze this moment in time for you is for you to be completely present with them and forget that I am here.
When you look back at this session in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, I want you to remember exactly how you felt while we were shooting. The laughs, the snuggles, the happiness, your tiny babies.
